Dresser-Rand promotes the highest standards of governance. These standards remain at the core of our Company's reputation and stability and, through them, we are able to serve our stockholders, employees, clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders with passion, hard work, confidence, and an innovative spirit. Beyond our long-standing commitment to abide by laws and regulations applicable to us, we work hard to engender a culture of conducting ourselves ethically. Simply put, our management team continually encourages our workforce to do their jobs the right way. Our governance systems are the cornerstone of our corporate management and, in conjunction with our Principles and Values, guide the decisions and actions of all employees.

2011 Goals
Provide periodic reporting to the Board with respect to the company's risk management and mitigation program
Improve our program for implementing, reviewing and communicating our corporate policies
Address global legislative developments relating to combating corruption
Improve the effectiveness of the company's hotline review and resolution process
Continue implementation of Global Singular Processes (GSP)


2010 Commitments 2010 Accomplishments
Provide periodic reporting to the Board with respect to the company's risk management and mitigation program Adopted the Enterprise Risk Management statement and policy, under which we provide periodic updates to the company's Board
Respond to legislative developments relating to governance issues Subscribed to State Net, an online computerized tracking system which monitors legislative developments facilitating our ability to effectively respond to opportunities and manage potential risks
Improve the company's programs for providing training with respect to safety, compliance and individual development Updated existing compliance materials, added further subject matter and made materials available in French, German and Portuguese
Enhance our commitment to positive labor relations With the assistance and support of union leadership, employees achieved no lost-time injuries and achieved an all-time high level of participation in our Safety and Health fairs at the Painted Post, N.Y., facility; also three New York facilities are now tobacco free.
Continue implementation of Global Singular Processes (GSP) We successfully completed our GSP implementations in Germany, the majority of U.S. service centers and our Painted Post, N.Y., facility
